Located in the base of the Montgó natural park
and crowned by its Islamic Castle, is Denia, a beautiful and colourful
town that offers to the tourist, an historic, cultural and gastronomic
patrimony and a typically privileged Mediterranean climate, |

its 20 km of beach, at the north, fine sand beaches
and clear low deep waters; to the south "Les Rotes" beach, conformed
by rocks that at the end of Cabo san Juan, is transformed in cliffs with
small bays of cold water product of the sweet waterfalls which come from
the Montgó natural park |

For the aquatic sports lovers, Denia has a sporting
marine and a yacht nautical club where it is possible to practice kayak,
sail and rent boats. |

It is also possible to practice windsurf and scuba diving,
mainly in the "Cova Tallada", Les Rotes and the Cabo San Antonio
marine reserve. For those who prefer other kind of sports, there is an
18 hole golf course, SPA´s and tennis courts. |

The hikers could enjoy the marvellous routes of the mountains in Denia
and its surroundings. We recommend visiting the Montgó natural
park, located between Denia - Jávea townships.

Denia from day to night, with its traditional fiestas full of colouring,

as TERRA MITICA, TERRA NATURA, MUNDO MAR, AQUALANDIA,
The Art and Cience City and The Oceanographic Museum could be a good choice
for a complete day tour. |

The cultural activities as dance, theatre and painting can be found
in the city, most of all in summer time when they are more frecuent. Of
interest also you can visit the Denia Castle, the San Juan and Santa Paula
hermitages and the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum. |
